Kathryn & Tim

2021 Ram ProMaster

159” Wheelbase Extended

Kathryn and Tim’s custom build was designed as a refined, all-season adventure van, blending thoughtful craftsmanship with serious off-grid capability. The interior is anchored by Shaker-style cabinetry, finished in Benjamin Moore Carolina Gull, with grass cloth inserts in the upper cabinets that add warmth, texture, and a subtle coastal feel. Thinscape countertops keep the galley lightweight and durable while maintaining a clean, modern look.

The living space is built for comfort and flexibility, featuring custom upholstered lounge bench cushions with a matching ottoman and a Lagún table that easily adapts for dining, working, or relaxing. Up front, Scheel-Mann seats provide exceptional comfort and support for long days behind the wheel. A Ninja Foodi appliance rounds out the kitchen setup, offering versatile cooking options without sacrificing space.

This van is equipped for true four-season travel thanks to a Van Life Tech heating system with radiant floor heating, on-demand hot water, and heated undermount gray tanks. Bathing is elevated with an Infinity recirculating shower, allowing for long, luxurious showers while conserving water — perfect for extended time off-grid.

The garage area is equally well thought out, with a slide-out tray for easy access to gear and a dedicated FVC ski storage box to keep equipment organized and secure. Power needs are handled by 500 watts of solar, supporting extended stays without hookups, while Starlink provides reliable connectivity wherever the road leads.

Outside, a Fiamma awning with integrated LED lighting extends the living space and creates a comfortable outdoor setup for evenings at camp. Every detail of this build was carefully considered to create a capable, comfortable home on wheels — equally suited for weekend escapes or long-term adventure.
