Live a Little Vans is proud to continue offering the Revel Bench Seat Rotation originally designed by RoamRig. As RoamRig shifts away from direct-to-customer installations, we’ll carry the product forward using their proven design, suppliers, and ongoing support.

The RoamRig technician who previously performed these installations is also joining our team, helping ensure a seamless transition and the same proven installation process.

As a full-service custom van shop, we can also complete additional Revel upgrades during your visit, including air conditioning, bumpers, lighting, electrical, suspension, storage, and more.

All new installation inquiries, scheduling, and installation services are now handled directly by Live A Little Vans.

We make the most of the newly available space by adding a new drawer, with an option for a large additional storage cabinet and more.

Which Generation Revel Do I Have?

Live a Little Vans is proud to be the exclusive installation location for the RoamRig Revel Bench Seat Rotation. This upgrade is available exclusively at our shop in Connecticut.

RoamRig Exclusive

If your Revel already has a RoamRig plumbing system, no additional plumbing work is required. If not, the bench-seat rotation requires at least the RoamRig half plumbing kit. Both half and full plumbing upgrades are available and priced separately.

RoamRig Plumbing

Price includes all materials and installation labor required for the bench seat rotation. The optional wall cabinet upgrade is available at an additional cost.

Installed Price

Lagun-style tables are optional and are not required for the bench-seat rotation. However, the installation is a convenient time to add one if you’re interested, and we keep several sizes and styles in stock.

Table Options

The top of the factory seat cushion sits approximately 19" above the floor, maintaining a comfortable, natural seating height.

Perfect Finishes + Expanded Storage

The RoamRig bench seat upgrade for Revels looks like it was installed at the factory — not added later. That's because every visible surface of our cabinetry uses the same laminate and trim as Winnebago.

The upgrade creates more floor space and adds tons of storage, including:

  • Oversized drawer under the seat provides easy access to frequently used items.

  • Dramatically larger storage behind the cushion, accessed through a concealed cabinet door, is ideal for soft goods like blankets, coats, and pillows.

  • Shelf behind the seat to keep all of your most-used electronics and essentials within reach — complete with a nearby outlet for convenient charging.

  • Optional Wall Cabinet can be added under the control panel that has adjustable, lipped shelves.

One Little Patch

By using the same laminate and trim as Winnebago, and carefully modifying the control panel wall to conceal marks from the stock seat install, our bench seat rotation looks factory-original with one small exception: a small floor patch where the original seat was secured. Shown here with the pre-rotation Inhabit Mat. A great way to cover the patch is with a new Inhabit mat made specifically for our upgrade—see below.

Bench Seat Basics

  • The bench seat is built brand new using high-quality 1/2" and 3/4" prefinished plywood, with Winnebago-matched laminate and trim on all visible surfaces for a factory-finished appearance. Your existing seat cushions are reused.

    We also offer an upgraded version that replaces the control panel wall and adds a large additional storage cabinet, making even more use of the space created by the rotation.

  • Yes—mostly!

    By using the same laminate and trim as Winnebago and carefully modifying the control panel wall to conceal marks left by the original seat installation, the finished Bench Seat Rotation looks like it came from the factory.

    There is one small exception: where the original bench was secured to the floor, a small flooring patch is required. We use matching flooring, but the coin pattern may not align perfectly with the existing floor.

    A great option is the new Inhabit mat designed specifically for the Bench Seat Rotation, which covers this area and gives the finished space an even cleaner look.

  • Yes.

    We’ve found significant variation in how Revels leave the factory, particularly with the plumbing beneath the bench seat. In some vans, those differences can make it difficult to complete the Bench Seat Rotation cleanly and consistently.

    Requiring the RoamRig plumbing upgrade allows us to properly rework the systems beneath the bench and ensures we can deliver a clean, complete installation.

    If your Revel doesn’t already have RoamRig plumbing, you’ll need to add it to your Bench Seat Rotation appointment. We offer both full and partial plumbing upgrades depending on your needs and budget. Only the partial plumbing upgrade is required for the Bench Seat Rotation.

  • No. The Bench Seat Rotation does not include seatbelts and is not intended to create an additional belted passenger seating position.

    Vehicle seatbelts and their mounting systems are engineered to protect passengers in specific seating positions and orientations. The rotated bench is intended for use while the vehicle is parked, not for carrying passengers while driving.

    Neither RoamRig nor Live a Little Vans modifies or installs seatbelt systems as part of this upgrade.

  • No. We intentionally chose not to incorporate a fold-out bed into the Bench Seat Rotation. Fold-out systems typically require additional cushions that need to be stored, increase the overall height of the bench, and take away valuable storage space. They can also introduce additional moving parts that may loosen or develop movement over time.

    Our priority was to create a clean, solid, and highly functional upgrade that maximizes storage and everyday usability. For those reasons, we do not currently offer a fold-out bed option.

  • Custom colors, finishes, and cushions are not available at this time. As a full custom van shop, we have the capability to offer these options and may expand the program in the future as we establish and refine the installation process.

  • The wall cabinet adds significant installation complexity and material cost, so it is available as an optional upgrade. This allows you to enjoy the full benefit of the bench-seat rotation while choosing the configuration that best fits your needs and budget.

Installers

  • Installation is only at Live a Little Vans in Connecticut. This upgrade will NOT be available at Roamrig HQ, RoamRig dealers or as a DIY kit.

  • No. This will not be available as a DIY kit for installation anywhere other than Live a Little Vans in Connecticut.

  • This upgrade requires a significant amount of specialized tooling, jigs, and gauges to achieve the level of fit, finish, and trim matching we expect — especially to properly match Winnebago factory materials. 

    By performing this work exclusively at Live a Little Vans in Connecticut, we can control every step of the process, ensure installations are high-quality, and offer a great price for the installation.

Revel Compatibility

  • The RoamRig bench seat rotation works for 2nd and 3rd generation Revels that have stock power systems or RoamRig power systems. We have found that the plumbing under the bench seat can vary a lot from one van to the next, so if you don't already have RoamRig plumbing, you'll need to add it to your bench seat appointment. 

    We offer both full and partial plumbing upgrades.

Live a Little Specific Questions

  • Yes, Live a Little Vans is now the exclusive installer of the RoamRig Bench Seat Rotation. The same technician who previously performed these installations for RoamRig will be completing them at our facility using the same suppliers, materials, and proven installation process.

  • The bench seat rotation itself remains the same, but we offer the Bench Seat Rotation without the modification of the wall. The Wall Cabinet installation is an optional add-on item.

  • We’ve begun scheduling installations now, with the first installs anticipated to begin in January 2027.
