Duties:

  • Assist other builders in various stages of custom van building, including interior installations, painting, electrical work, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.

  • Aid in the preparation and assembly of materials and components required for custom van projects, ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.

  • Perform general shop duties, such as equipment maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs, to uphold a safe and efficient working environment.

    Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth workflow and efficient project completion.

Van Build Assistant


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification is a plus.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an automotive or construction environment is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as a willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to custom van building.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work setting.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Physical dexterity and the ability to lift heavy objects, as well physical stamina to stand for long periods of time.

  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for creating exceptional custom vans.
